    Possibility to create a menu with various menus. Need huge help.

    • Hello all,

      I facing problems with putting some modules in some pages. This is happening since Joomla fix a "bug" that make you the possility to assign the module appearence in the same menu. The module will only goes on or off if the menu changes also.
      So what I'm looking is the possibility to create a menu that query itens from multiples menus.
      Could any one kindly give me a hint or solution to that?
      What I need:

      One menu like the one in the versatility iii display itens from various menus, not just from mainmenu.

      I believe that this will help other peoples to the same problem too.

    • create all your minor menu's, and then create your mainmenu, including in it all items from the other menu's :)
    • Say no to Internet Explorer 6.

    • Let see if I understand:

      In main menu I would like to have:

      Home | News | Articles | Downloads

      Should I create so:

      News menu and itens
      Articles menu and itens
      Download menu and itens

      And then copy the a New item to the Mainmenu and so on with the others?

      But if I assign a module to the news item in the mainmenu will this module appear only in the news page?

    • That is correct. Note that joomla does not handle this very well (you may find that the link from the main menu and the other menu's are different, despite pointing to the same article.)

      Yup that is correct as well.

      But I discovered that the problem with assign is not due to the module itself but with the component SH404SEF that is bugging something.
      But really thanks anyway ;D
