    • With Replicant, i want to change the design a bit to make it look exactly like the new microsoft vista glassy interface. My question is are there any copyrighting issues in the design that will infringe this plan. I in no way intent to use their source, i am going to design mine but its going to be exactly like windows vista. Any legal restrictions to this? advice greatly welcome.

    • If its you original art files ,, thats perfecty fine... if those art files are going to COPY a COPYright then NO,, you cant,, but if your COPY is going to MIMIC a copyright .. your fine,,, the rules of thumb as far as leagality goes?? they say change it 20 percent and your ok .... ok?

      Thanks for the advice CG. I intend to make it Vista Style, but oviously withouth the source it can neva be the same, like it is said you can never draw your head twice exactly thesame. I aim at doing the graphics my self but with a little differences, it will not even look like the MS new site not at all.

      I think once modified it is no longer to RT is it? so any legal issues will be mine, though the CSS is copyrighted by them, isnt it? i am not so sure on that one. But i dont want my backside kicked by MS~ ;D
