After endless problems trying to upload the rocket launcher, I gave up, installed the latest version from my ISP, and added the template.
What I was hoping for is to start out with the template looking like it does oin the demo and then modifying it from there.
I have a few questions:
Would it be possible to upload some files and overwrite what's on the server now, or do I really have to start from scratch?
At this point, I will not be allowing registration, the only 'user' will be me, the administrator. So I have taken the Login off the front page.
I know that I can edit the content from the back end, but what I noticed is that logging in from the front page makes it much easier to edit. In administrator's mode, is there a way to get that view, or must I put the Login back on the front page?
Lastly, at the top of the page where the logo is there's a spot for News Flashes. If I shut off the News Flashes from that feeding there, I still have a 'place holder' on my logo. Is there a way to shut that off? - Thanks,
