I am too busy anyway so couldn't respond even if I was given the option, but can I ask why you need your designer to be US based? I am not looking to convince you that you shouldn't limit your opportunities, just curious is all. Your answer could perhaps also help us developers improve ourselves or refine our strategies and processes to attract clients from all over the world. (You really don't have to answer at all though
)

Not really sure I would like to pay someone in pounds right now seeing as its 2 dollars to each. Also, wouldn't want to get up at 3am to talk with my web designer should it require extensive conversation. Last, but not least it would be helpful to speak the same language.
