SOLVED: Under Construction Page

    • I mean come on guys, don't throw me COMPLETELY under the bus... I said I am new to this and I am trying...

Because of this, I may need someone to explain it the way a child can understand as I am very new to this particular project...

      Ingrid, I will try again...

      1. I have saved the image to the image folder... However, there are so many image folders (system, template, joomla - that can be confusing)... I will save it to all of them and see what happens...

      2. I used TextEdit and saved it as an HTML file... I then named it index.html... I will try placing it in the same folder as index.php...

Again, I am appreciative of all of your help... I understand none of you have to reach out and help... But, it really doesn't help when people are trying to learn and have been grateful in each step, only to find they are now the butt of jokes... I am trying everything you guys are telling me! And I am still most grateful!!!

    • Hi,

I am truly sorry but it seems that you are missing some essential knowledge of simple HTML coding. Maybe the best hing for you would be to go through some dummy course of HTML coding first to understand how things works before you start to do your Joomla development.

We really can't walk you through the entire process of web site development. If you need more help, please post your question in the The Marketplace forum and you will certainly receive (paid) support there

    • I actually posted the HTML that I had. I really had a hard time figuring out where to post the new files, although it was said to place in the root directory. I have since been able to figure the issue out.
