I am encountering increasing problems from my current reseller hosting service on some domains. From time to time for at least 3 of the domains it can take up to 15 arrempts to load the site, Firefox either displays a blank page, or an alert box indicating that you have expressed a desire to "download index.php", IE reports an inability to find the DNS or name server and returns an error. So far the hosting company have been unable to come up with a solution. (This can be especially irritating when the attempt to save the last 10 minutes work fails........and you have to start over!). It isn't just my connection to the server that is affected, increasingly customers are reporting the similar symptoms.
Looking around I have identified a number of possible hosting services, just wondering if any UK user has any experience of Nativespace that they would care to share?

- Thanks very much for that. Only had a quick look, I think I need to look at them in more detail, very interesting. (Shall have to go and count the bandwidth that the various sites are currently using.)

There is a product out there called NEO Trace Pro that I use religiously. It can ping any IP address as well as DNS servers.
This is a very useful tool. I think McAfee bought them out but you may still be able to find it out there. If not, try McAfee's version...
