I was trying to fix a donation form which kept on saying that "Header can not be modified..etc etc", and I ran into a code somewhere on the net which asked me to add two lines to the configuration.php file. That didn't solve my issues, so i deleted those lines again.
However, after playing around with the donation form's processing file (which is in a self-contained folder of its own), I went back to the site admin and refreshed the admin and site page and these horrible errors get coming up!
I have a feeling they have something to do with the configuration.php file, but I don't know what exactly the problem is. Please make suggestions...the site was meant to be in complete working order today...and it is live by the way...
Also, it would be great if someone could give me thiers or a generic configuration.php file, so that I can check if I have unknowingly changed something else too.
There are blank lines at the end of one of the files you were editing. Delete them, and you should be good to go.

You should never have to edit your Joomla configuration.php. Whatever module you were working with was probably making reference to its own config, not Joomla. remove whatever you put in there.

I often do, I just use a proper text editor

I checked the file again in notepad...There was no blank lines anywhere and yet it was coming up with the errors. I have already taken out the two lines that I had put in before.
Can someone please confirm how many lines the config file should have? Maybe I accidently deleted a line.
I've replaced the config file with one from a fresh Joomla install and configured the DB login details and everything seems to be working fine, for the time being...
