      How do I change the text in the web browser page tab

      Mine reads Clarion - February 2012

    • using your advice I was able to change the tab text for one page. Does this change need to be made on every page(menu item) or can it be done globally somehow?

    • default browser title is the menu item .... (if you leave the field in Page Display Options blank)

    • This isn't changing for me. Plus the path is incorrect at least in my version. There isn't a page options at Menu Manager > Edit Menu Item > Page Display Options .
      Page Display Options is shown after you client on the menu manager itself and it it disappears when you click on Edit Menu Item. I went to Page Display and it the fields were empty. I change the fields to accommodate my site and nothing happened. Which field should be updated... I updated them all.

      Wich Joomla version? Wich template? What do you want to change exactly?
      Do you have a link?
      As you can see above it worked for others.

    • Never mind Henning. Thanks for responding so quickly. To answer your question, I have 3.0, Clarion is the template, but the path you provided didn't really help me. But I found it. You are correct going to Menu Manager> Menu Items but... you must select Home >Advanced Options > Page Display Options. Thanks again for your help. The path kinda through me off.
