Best gallery

I am setting up a very basic site so my friend can upload pictures for friends and family. He likes when they have albums. What is the best component or gallery to use.
I have tried a few but they all seem to be a pain in the A$$

Personally I like Gallery2 (
gallery.menalto.com/
). This is rather difficult to setup, but once running it is rock stable.
A few benefits of gallery2:
- integration with joomla through a component
- several upload possibilities (picassa, from windows xp direct, other server, ...)
- Different access levels (eg. friends, family, ...)
It might be that this gallery is too advanced for your needs, but I can't recommend another since I only work with gallery2 (I tried the others some time ago, but found them lacking in features and upload comfort). Maybe someone else has some suggestions ? - I use simplix, does this mean that I'm a simple guy ?

Thanks guys,
I tried expose but it kept telling me it couldn't connect to the server each time I tried to upload a picture. As far as Gallery goes I am still searching for something called JoomlaLib which the bridge is asking for.

That one is indeed well hidden.
joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomlalib/frs/ - I use simplix, does this mean that I'm a simple guy ?
