    • :-\ I know this has to be simple.

How can someone.. say a author or editor....... grab a .jpg from there harddrive
      and add to there blog/news.

I know that I can upload images thru ftp or backend.

But I'd like to have my authors add images on there own.

      Any help would be apreciated.

Sorry again for the noob question.

    • The best way (most secure) would be for them to upload to some photo hosting service like photobucket.com or other, and them to add the url of the image to the content.

the other method would be for them to use the media manager and assign them a folder for them to use and upload their content images. After that they can use mosimage -or- the image dialog... the media manager even gives you the url tag.

You do know that authors can log-into the backend as well....

    • Go the photobucket way, as bandwidth will become quite precious once your site lifts off the ground.
Nothing worse than having your site go down with a big spalsh [This site has exceeded bandwidth] message.
