I would like to build a streaming video on demand site and considering MultiMediaCart, which apparently requires Virtuemart to operate. OK, I can deal with VM again (if I have to!), but am now told that MMC isn't going to work at all if i use a RT template to build the site. (huh?) I am no expert, but never had any real issues with RT playing well with others, and these comments struck me funny. This person was pretty adamant about not using RT, and also said this forum was full of nothing but complaints.
As I have been a member here for a couple of years, I had to LOL when I heard that. I have learned a lot from reading this forum, clean up most of my messes with a quick search, and have seen help given here FAR beyond the membership. As this person was trying to steer me to other template clubs, I believe it's simply just a case of rocket envy.
Needless to say, I am thinking my research didn't lead me to the perfect component for my needs. I built what I wanted with Mosets/ Ecwid- it looks clean, has the video preview, and simple checkout so I'd like to find a way to make it all click. MMC seemed like it would cover billing and serving up all the file formats, but I am completely turned off to it now, especially considering the price.
Just wondering what you guys might suggest for this application, and if anyone has used MMC before.
Any information is appreciated, and if I am posting in the wrong section, feel free to kick me to the proper curb.

I have to admit that I don't see a reason why that extension wouldn't work with our templates
Did you ask MultiMediaCart developers if they have experience already with our templates or if there is something in MultiMediaCart extension that is very specific and which could prevent working it correctly with other templates? - Check my services at: Mihha-Vision
