Hello everyone
I have spent a few days and with the help of my friend uploaded my first Joomla fresh install to my server
I have uploaded the Simplix template and now when I type in the web address I get a blank screen, however veiwing the site from within the Joomla admin panel, the site is there to see
The only difference I can see is that the www address has /index.php added to the end, why is this and what do I do to fix it?

Check in configuration.php if your site is correctly written:
$mosConfig_live_site = ' www.yoursite.com '; - Yves

Just checked and the PHP is written as per the sample you have given
Still have the same problem

Just changed site templatye to solaflare and no, by entering my sitename
www.simply-kids.co.uk
the site does not show
It shows ok if viewed from site - preview in control panel but again the /index.php is added

I can usually create this effect when I upload an index.html file. I do it to hide the site for a second. Any chance you uploaded another html file?
