XBOX 360 but no XP Media Centre: How to stream?

Clearly this is for the XBOX users but I'm after some help streaming from my PC to my XBOX.
I'm thinking about buying this:

The only thing is, they say you've got to have XP Media Center, which I don't have, so I was looking for alternatives.
Any ideas?
