Nope, this should not be related to the 1.0.13 upgrade. However, depending on how you are inserting your ads (a module perhaps) you issue might rest there.

I do use a module -- the Joomlaspan Adsense module. I just upgraded it to the latest version (Aug 5, 2007), but I still have the same problem. I also tried dumping the code from Google into a new, blank module, but I still have the same problem.
The ads sometimes show up when navigating the website, but most often do not. Weird.
