How to add files for downloading with a Template?

- I am using the Graffito template, I would like to beable to have users be able to click on a small icon on the page and be able to download a PDF file. How would I be able to do this? Example : I have a bunch of text then after the text in the middle of the page have a small download Icon. That is the idea.
