My desktop died on me today, so I decided to build a new rig that I am looking to order as soon as tomorrow. I am looking to order it asap, but wanted someone knowledgeable to hopefully give me the go ahead, or let me know if everything is compatible or you have a better suggestion.

Trying to keep a decent budget, and the hard drives I order keep failing me. the best HD i have is my WD 10k rpm Raptor from well over 5 years ago, so I decided to order another. I am currently running Windows XP on my rig, but it's growin old. I don't know how I feel about Windows 8 yet

Your mobo and cpu are not compatible. I hope you have not ordered yet.
What is the purprose of this computer? Gaming, work, what applications?
Are you sure 300gb is enough for you? I would go with regular hdd, just check the newegg for high ratings.

Use a good SSD for the system and some S-ATA disks for storage
I use some Hitachi Deskstar 4TB 7200 RPM in a RAID for my stuff. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
