Something I came across today that is being ran and figured I'd share it with you guys since a lot of us use these other services for their Extensions and such.
But JoomlArt put together a Humble Bundle concept to raise money for Joomla.org, they have partnered with other Joomla Developers to offer bundles which is amazing, maybe RocketTheme will be on this at some point? *Hint *Hint even though I'll always renew my subscription no matter the price.

As far as I saw, this concept doesn't work for renewals (at least it doesn't for JomSocial part of the current deal)

No it didn't I had to buy a new one for JomSocial, but my JS was expired anyways. my JoomlArts did renew though.
Also there is another one as well with redComponent
