    • Hoo boy, here's a snazzy question... Finally got www.mybasketballprofile.com up and running so let me know whatcha think =)

      Here's my question... I have CB, JIM, AEC, JACL, ProfileURL, SM2, jCal Pro, Ajax Sandbox, Seyret, Joomlapack, JoomlaXplorer, Juice, and some other aftermarket mods on this one... My issue is with the ProfileURL plugin (SNAZZY!), and getting it to work with the site contact functions... here's the scenario...

      An athlete has a profile, and contacts a coach (via PM or Email)... I would like the users profile url to display within the communication sent to the coach so he or she can easily click the link and view the athlete's stats... I would guess this has something to do with the $configlivesite database hitch, as it would simply put the username at the end ie www.mybasketballprofile.com/admin

      However, a user can also switch the default profile URL (kinda like myspace and youtube)

      This is a programming question which I would imagine entails some php and db knowledge, and it's way above me... I imagine SOMEONE who has CB and this plugin did this before, it would make the contact functions awesome...

      I have looked everywhere, and cannot find it. Posted messages on Joomlapolis, etc... This "hack" would be a combo of some code from the ProfileURL plugin and the core CB (or JIM) files I suppose,,, Tried it myself and no go... Any ideas... default I could just add the username after the live site url, and disable modification of the url on the user side I guess, but hooking the username at the end of that database query stumps me...

      So in a nutshell, I would like the email that the coach, or anyone else for that matter, receives to have the www.sitename.com/username format as opposed to the sitename...

      Any super mod squad experts in the house?? I imagine this hack could be made available to anyone who has a community site running CB plus ProfileURL...
