    • Hi,

I run a clan and I want to be able to add all my clan member profiles to my site and was told that Community Builder is my best bet!
Now I have installed the component and all needed modules but I cant get it to work :(

I have made a number of posts regarding my problem but noone has gave me a solution.

All I want is to be able to do the following:

I want to add all my member profiles our site.
When they login, they can edit their profiles.

Now here is what I am getting at the minute:

I have installe CB, and made a new menu item linking to the component. In the back-end I have allowed access to everybody, so everybody can see them. But when I clock on the menu link, its loads the page but says "You must login to view or edit your profile" ?
When I login I can only see my profile? And none of my clan members?

      Can anyone help me please?

      Thanks in advance
      Danny

    • danny,

Try adding this link to your user menu:

      /index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=usersList

I have 2 links to CB on my site in the user menu. 1 "CB user" goes to the component and "CB Link" goes to the link I gave you. see if that works, or you can add it anywhere you want.

    • Danny,

On the top go to >Menu>UserMenu

      Click on add new

then select under the new menu item>Links> click on the radio button next to" Link - Url"

From there you can name the menu item such as - User List or whatever you want to use. then add the link I gave you.

You have a choice to have in open in the same window, new window with or without navigation.

Next the parent item is set to top. I would leave it like that unless you have a menu item you want it under.

And then select what access level you want it to be seen at.

Make sure it is published and hit the save button up top.

You are done. I hope this helps, if you have any problems let me know.

      William
