Hello, i need help please
i have one web with 3 languages in joomla 1.5 . (4 years old) I have three joomlas and three databases for each languaje. The first language is in the root (es) and the others in folder (/ca) and folder (/en).
Now i need upgrade the website to joomla 2.5 or 3.0 . With joomla 2.5 and 3.0 i can make the web multilanguage with one joomla and one database.
the question is that probably, i lose pageerank and seo because the sitemap and menu links change.
What is the best solution for this, i cant lose seo and pagerank? I make the new web with the same structure that now with 3 joomlas for each idioma in folders or i will make a multilingual website with one joomla and one database?
people tell me that multilingual joomla is very bad for seo ?
perhaps i need modified htacces with 301redirection for each new address.?
