Well I am sitting here, trying to figure out what to write on my company homepage. Everything sounds so stupid and corny and I could really need some help on this one. As english isn't my native language I find it hard to write something catchy and interesting..
Any hints, guides or links you can share - everything is really appriciated.
Just some general ideas of how to write a nice "Welcome to... blabla" and so on..
I reckon I will surf around and see what other people do, but if you have some good ideas I am all ears.

ok .. well, i always think about sfw or so fu&^ing waht
if you read it and think sfw then the visitor will read it and think sfw ..
also, less is often better. the more detail you put on a homepage means the visitor has more reason not to click through .. try the simple 'welcome to our website' for logo work click here, for illustration click here for tips and tricks click here
point them to exactly where you want them to go rather than do the 'sales speech' like you say. its often exactly what people want ..
