I posted this on the joomla forums but haven't gotten any response yet. I'm hoping I may get some better feedback here.
This is the first time I've seen this issue. I installed the Equinox RockerLauncher Package. After I logged in the first time with the initial password. I changed the password / logged out / and back in to validate it. I then registered a new user on the site. The registrations went great but when attempting to login I get Invalid Password. After loggin out of the Administrator page I now can;t get logged back in to it with the admin sign on. I again get Invalid Password.
I'm not even sure where to start looking to deal with this issue. I run another demo Joomla site with the same hosting provider / same mysql server and have no issues. I'd appreaciate any assistance with this and appoligize if this isn't posted in the best catagory.

I did trying to reset the password according to the directions. However it came back with the same results.
Interesting is on the same server I host test site that I used the Firenzie RocketLaunch and loaded the Equinox template, and it works fine. I load the site with the Equinox RocketLauncher and i get the same results over and over.
mmm interesting, I have not tried the Equinox RocketLaunch package myself though.

i'll do a diff and see if we have any issues, but really they are all a default joomla install with no changes to anything core that would cause an issue like this.
I'm not sure what was going on. If it was the template or RocketLauncher I'd think more peeps would be chatting. So I just loaded Joomla from scratch and applied the template. It worked flawless for me going that path.
Thx for the advice on this. I'll calling it a warp.
