    • Google wants me to add this line to my home pages html head tag :

      <meta name="verify-v1" content="TIBoLplypV26eAWkwYWbpDB8tQqDsq

      I am using the ferenzie template. Where exactly do I find this page

    • is this also not the same verification that you can simply create a html page in your root directory?? or maybe I am thinking of something else.

      so it would be TIBoLplypV26eAWkwYWbpDB8tQqDsq.html and would reside in your sites root directory

      It is yes but My site does not cater for the 404 pages so google cannot verify it

    • This isn't the best way to go about getting verified.

      Better to use the second option (like CG Icon suggested)

      Otherwise you're adding an extra line (a few extra bytes) to each page your server sends out... a waste of resources.
