I some how found myself on vcita dot come last night.
It seemed too good to be true. I've signed up for stuff like this in the past and have been burned. If anyone has any feedback, please share. Since they have an affiliate program I'll take overly positive feedback with a grain of salt. I tried finding stuff on google, but there isn't much... Just looking for some honesty.
Also, I'm really curious if this has good CRM features. There isn't much of a check list.
I like so much about this, but my dislikes are major.
vcita (vcita.com) is an appointment manager and contact system. It's also a borderline CRM and Formbuilder.
The main highlights:
It's easy to set up and use for both the admin and the client.
If you do a lot of online work where phone and skype support are the norm this is handy.
This has the ability to charge for your time. People can pay up front for sessions.
Very affordable as an add on service.
The downers:
No way to import contacts. Like I said, this is almost a CRM. You probably already have a lot of contacts in email or constant contact or, hell, even on a spreadsheet. This offers no macro solution to import clients. You have to do it one by one, which makes it an impossible sell.
The code they output to embed their services are based on iframe. I haven't messed with it much, but you're not going to be able to plug and play with a responsive template.
The form builder is lacking some very basic options, like check boxes and radios. This is not a replacement for J! formbuilders or services like wufoo or formstack.
Final analysis. Not ready for prime time. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the bigger CRMs is working on the features it offers. It's a great price. If you have a CRM and formbuilder, and still have money to blow, sure why not. But it's not all there.
To anyone reading this, I'm always looking for the ultimate solution. An affordable CRM, Formbuilder, Appointment management system that's fully integrated with Joomla. Feel free to let me know if there's one I should check out.
