I am seeing a strange problem and wonder if anyone else has seen and solved it.
I have a module set to display on the home menu only.
I have a text separator menu item "Gallery" with two category blog menu items("lampworking" and "other glass" ) under it.
When I click on a link on the "lampworking" blog layout page, the module does NOT show.
When I click on a link in the "other glass" blog layout page, the module DOES show.
I pretty much just linked an image in the intro area to a single article on each of the pages pulled by the blog layout.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what is different between them.

I'm confused
Using my Chrome browser, this is what I see:
Home page: Module with image toso-glassblower560.jpg
lampworking page: Blog articles - no module
other glass page: Blog articles - no module

When I went in initially, I thought the problem was resolved, but I had mistakenly created one link using a phantom menu (the "Big Sur") so that DID work. The rest did not. If you clicked Big Sur, that explains why it was not there. The rest still exhibitied the problem.
HOWEVER, when I reconstructed the link items, the problem seems to go away.
I'll marked this solved, and just re-enter the links.
If I see it again with any further hints to what is happening, I'll post again.
Thank you for looking at it!
EDIT: Happening again.
The solution is really that I will have to un-orphan the articles and link via a menu, since the system seems to arbitrarily decide to see the links as the home menu.

Sounds like your articles don't have menu associations so Joomla opens them by default on the Home page. You have to use a Hidden Menu to associate the articles to menu items so they open on their own pages.
