Problems With RHUK_SolarFlare_ii template

I am currently running (as I assume an older "legacy" template) RHUK_SolarFlare_ii.

In the Solar Flare II template, when displayed in IE 6, the content gets shoved down under the left column. Once the left side column ends (where the navigation is) then the rest of the content will display underneath. This causes a vast amount of whitespace that is not wanted. I am having the same problem with this template. The content wants to shift down below the left column in IE 6. Does anyone have any tips for me to try short of using a different template.

Hi Mike,
I would try making this image width smaller. Looks like this could be the cause. It is pushing things out of alignment.
