Dear all, pardon me if my subject is only in parts related to the Joomla Templates, however:
I am somewhat new to the Joomla concept and I am rather frustrated with the general documentation in Joomla and at the official Joomla documentation site.
My problem is in regards to the basic and advanced settings in Joomla, i.e. on menus, documents etc.
I'm using the Chapelco template, but switching a setting on/off really matters on the template too as it will display content according to the parameters, but I find some of the results to be "interesting" and annoying. Hence, I look for someone in here to help.
Where can I find real down to earth documentation on the settings in Joomla 3.x ?
What I seek is something like a list of "What happens is you set the settings to either Global / Show / Global (I can guess the meaning) - but what information will display and where ??
Does anyone have a usable link - of perhaps some pdf's available ??!?

Global means use this setting EVERYWHERE except where I have used an override setting, in which case the override setting is used. Generally this part of Joomla is similar in J25 as it is in J30.
