Create landing page before main site

  • Create landing page before main site

    • Hello

I want to develop a new site and rather than taking the visitor to the normal home page I would lilke to create a page like this

      www.jobpage.com/

The idea is that my visitor will have two options (Go here, or go there) that will then link to those areas of the website, after that, the user is in the website as normal.

I am not exactly sure how I could create such a page but I am thinking of using the Hexaris template if this helps in the answer.

Thanks a lot for your help

    • Hi Julian,

Simply create a separate menu with just the Home page and sign up/login, making home the default menu item for the site.

Now open Hexeris and save as copy called Home version and assign it to the default home in the new menu.

In the main menu make sure there is nothing that will take people to the default home page. Create your pseudo home page and have that in your main menu as the home item, although it cannot be a default.

      Hope this helps 8)
