Control Panel: unable to see categories

Hello, I installed the firenzie template with succes with the RocketLauncher version.
however, in the admin control panel, when I try to see the sections it works ok, but when I try to see the categories (category manage) I do see just the admin panel header and nothing more shows up.
I see there are categories set in pages like "all content items", but if I click on a link of the category name...nothing, the same page with just the admin header.
It is just a plain install, it seems strange to me...any help? :-\
