    • They probably didn't see what pixelsparadise did; put their shop up for sale.

The WR founder could have left the biz with a handful while keeping his commitment to his clients... win-win.

      Ahhh well, shit happens.

PS. my earlier post about J! has been edited.

    • I am not sure how this relates to web companies because I haven't been doing this long enough, but in the business world "lifetime membership" is a scary term; it usually means cash grab. Do I know that to be the case with WR? no, but in these cases I would at least minimize the risk an download the templates asap. I believe that RT and JA will be around a long time, but even still I download each and every template.

From what I have read, it seems Web Revolution already had enough good templates available for download that it was worth the cost; so the loss is minimized already for those that have the templates. If I was in this situation I would wait a few more days to see what folks find out and if there is no resolution then I think it would fair for those that have the templates to share with those that have receipts but didn't get the templates.

It would be great if one of you were able to work something out with WR and still provide templates.

Daniel, I realize you offer lifetime memberships and don't for a second question your integrity. Twenty plus years of running two businesses has left me with my opinion of the term "lifetime membership" but I am still smart enough to evaluate things on a case by case basis.

    • Nice save!

But yes even my Lifetime Membership won't last until every Member dies.

I intend Ninjoomla to have a lifespan of 5-10+ years at least though. There isn't really a better word than lifetime though. Indefinite membership sounds wayyyy to flakey. :D

At the very least I would leave the site up for dls even if I stopped working.

    • Y'know when they offered the lifetime subscription I was *this* close to going for it but in the end I decided to go a different way. I'm glad this is all working out to some degree for subscribers now.

Some mighty fine templates though - no doubt.

    • For the amount paid WR was a VERY good deal..
Even if it was "Life Time" (we close tommorow) it would be a good deal..
The cost equals a night out or less... not bad for that many solid and good looking templates.
Oh well shit happens - I will def. miss 'em..... on the other hand Zullop left 'em some time ago, perhaps it would never be the same again.

    • Hey Peter, I'm always forgetting my passwords lol.

      In FF menu bar:
      Tools>Options>Security

Click on "show passwords", then .... click on "show passwords" again.

      Voila! :)
