Content shown at frontpage while shouldn't

Hi,
I know that this is probably a joomla question and not a Rocketthem thing but getting no respons so I'll give it a shot here....
Please can someone help me with this one:
After changing the homepage in Blogcategory (and also aftere changing back to frontpage) I got this weird thing that a lot of content (static and dynamic) is shown on the frontpage.
Some things I figured out:
Mostly links to articles are affected.
After copy past the affected articles and setting up new links they are shown as normal pages but after a whileit is possible that they are shown at the frontpage again
When I look at the links it seems to be that the itemid of the homepage is automatically added at the link
The problem is solved when I make a menuitem of the page. (of course I cn do this and then unpublish the link but that will be a lot of pages over and over again)
