Planning template customisation to a client and copyright

Hi all,
I am planning to run templates customization service based on the choice of clients (rockettheme, yootheme) but all of my prospects are asking the ownership of the template that I will customize.
Also, I would like to know which kind of rockettheme template could allow me do provide this service to client.
Does gantry-framework provide a default responsive template that I could then customize for this purpose (I saw another thread where someone from rochettheme team was saying that one can own the ownership of the template copyright only if one build it from scratch from gantry)?
