I haven't seen this subject covered in this forum. Is there a way to keep the Joomla! information from showing on Google search? I changed the global metadata info, but Joomla! info still precedes the info I put in for my site when I search on Gooogle. Thanks for any help.
I have modified the global metadata in global configuration. Configuration.php is writable.
You may have to wait for googles servers to update before that "disappears" from your sites google listing....
When you first went live with the site I assume you didn't set any meta description or keywords up right away....
and that's what the googlebot grabbed.......
Just one of the possibilities...
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
