Need soemone to build a database

I have a site that I created using Joomla and then I have another site that someone else created that contains a database for storing and sorting information. I want to switch this database so that it works inside my new Joomla site. I need someone that is very good with databases that can look at the Non Joomla site and tell me if this can be done and what the cost will be.
I really like Joomla and want this switched as soon as possible. Right now I have links for my members to switch back and forth between the two but would rather have it all in one.
