Was kicking the tires on 3.3 beta today -http://www.joomla.org/announcements/release-news/5540-joomla-cms-3-3-beta-released.html
As I was clicking through admin - It dawned on me that the Banners component was still there - Something I never tried to impliment.
Just curious for feedback on anyones use of the banners component. Maybe I am missing something that could be useful.
So a debate for fun - is the Banners component an archiac left over from the 468 x 60 days or does it still have use when adding marketing to your site opposed to creating a module? - -- William

- There are many better 3rd party solutions. I personally never used this component
