    • Hi all,

      I just started testing with joomla, as I have been a stubbern programmer trying to do everything by myself in php... up untill now. I am testing with a community website for the company, and this populus template really suits our needs. There is only one thing I can't figure out, and that is how to change the main part of the firstpage.

      Let me explain: when you first install the template (I used the Rocket Launch install which teached me a lot!), you get the main part of the website where you see all the new "movies in theatre", in kind of a slideshow. I would like to use that part of the site to show the latest news items created. Is this possible in any way? It's probably a total newbie question, but I was hoping someone here could help me out...
