How would I get a menu to link to this type content?

- and They are wanting a menu for all of the different games systems they have. When you click on the game system in the menu they are wanting a simple list of the games. A picture and a brief description. Basically they are wanting it to resemble this This image is hidden for guests..

I am wanting each game in the list to be a "Content Item" where they can add these in the future (the reason I chose Joomla) with ease. I guess my question would be what type of menu link am I looking for? Blog, Catagory list, or does something have to be modified a little to get this look??? I'm all for modifying, I would really like this simple layout look.
Can you help me???

- I would create my pages as Static Content and create menu items that link to that particular static content.

Here's what I did to get this look and still maintain content management wehre my customer could just simply add new content. I used a menu link to a "Blog-Section" all of the items of of my items of course were in this section. I used the style of the "Alert" message that comes with this template as a guide and created a new style that had a dark gray background and a red border. THe only bad thing is I have to use this "SPAN" in the description - which I will have to teach the customer (shouldn't be too hard).
