Hi all,
I'm looking for a simple image rating module with the following functions :
1. Members can upload images
2. Anyone can rate the images (1-5 stars, preferably using AJAX)
3. Members can add comments
4. Images can be sorted by rating and date

I'm not positive but I think Datsogallery has many of those features....

- datso is what I use and it fits all of your needs to a "T" ,,,in addition to that, it can also have images inserted into content and fireboard as well and is Community builder friendly

I've decided to test it on Joomla 1.0.13... installation and backend upload went fine, but how do I display the pictures on the frontend? I couldn't find any documentations...

You have to publish a menu link to the component, and add some pictures to the default category (or create a new one) you can do this from the site backend using the upload link or there is also a link for it in "pictures" just click new and it will open a dialogue where you can upload the picture, add a description etc.
About all I could recommend is try using google or babelfish to translate the datso.fr website www.datso.fr
Or.....take a crash course in russian language.... ;D

You could also muck about with it on your local machine until you get a feel for it....

Ok I just tried a test with 1.5 and it looks like it's a no go.....even with legacy mode enabled....
Got all kinds of errors division by zero and others. :'( Bummer because it looks like a pretty sweet component.
Everything seemed to work on my 1013 box just fine though, comments, front end uploads, rating, etc......Except zip upload....will have to do some reading and see if there is a fix.... - Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
