Creating a blank front page(no graphic) without menu bar but with positions

  • Creating a blank front page(no graphic) without menu bar but with positions

Posted 17 years 3 months ago
    • What is the technique to create a blank front page with positions in place without any graphic component including menu bar.
Similar to a flach intro page.

Thanks and regards to all for the help

    • Create a blank content page. link it in your main menu. then publish it ,, and make sure it is the first item in your main menu.. above front page or any other menu item,, it will default to the page at every visit

    • Thanks for your reply -

what I am working towards is a page without the menu/tollbar on the front page - similar to what you might find on a flash intro page. Preferably without the header also.

      Thanks again.

    • Might you not just create a copy of the template and reinstall it as a second template, assign it to your default first page, and then edit it to remove all the toolbars etc?

    • Thanks guys,

I was thinking there might be an easier way. perhaps a minimalist template will work
