problems with reinstallation of modules: noob

i have a problem with reinstalling module in joomla.
for example, i installed mod_tag_clouds. after a while i uninstalled it. now, i want to reinstall it again but when i try to install it in the back end. it say that the installation failed " are you installing the same module twice?
i also have this same problem with installing other modules.
help please.

Thats a common error when the files keep on the server. Check it again through FTP or Dreamweaver, for sure thats files remain over there.

Hi Mariela.
I already did check it through ftp. Even before i posted here. and truly enough it was there. i deleted the files and tried to reinstall the modules again but it keeps saying the same thing.

Hi there. i solved this already.
At first, i was trying to delete the files using ftp filezilla. i deleted all the files related to the module i was reinstalling. then tried to reinstall the module in the back end. Installation failed.
Second, i checked the files through cpanel and found the files were still there even though i deleted it through ftp.
i deleted the files through cpanel file manager. Reinstalled in the back end. Installation failed.
Third, i installed joomlaexplorer. looked for the files and its still there. deleted the files again. reinstalled and guess what. success.
i used this same procedure with the other modules i had problems reinstalling.
i don't really understand why this happened. anyways, thank you so much for you help. god bless.
