Publishing mods to menu item links that are not visible in the page/items list

I am trying to publish mods to specific pages that come up when using my site. For reference I am using the mediamogul template. It is very easy to publish mods if the menu item link is visible in the page/items list found in site modules. The problem I have is that not all links are shown in the menu item links to specifically publish to. The only way I can publish in some cases is to select "all" in the menu item link list. Using all does not work since it would publish modules to areas that I do not want them published to, for instance a wrapper or a contact us form. If a publish "all" but exclude feature is available I am not aware of it.
In my case I will use my community builder features as an example. I have a link www.hockeywiz.com/community/members-list.html and because the "community" is a published menu item link I can assign right hand modules to it. However lets say I try an update a users profile and get the following link www.hockeywiz.com/comprofiler/user-profile.html. ; Because comprofiler is not an acutal menu item link there is not option for me to publish a module to it and the only way for me to publish is using publis "all.
I am looking for a more precise way to publish modules to any area of my site. In my case a primary reason for this is due to mediamogul theme limitations on page length. Expanding tabs in areas such as community builder do not function. When a user updates their profile the bottom part of the page is cutoff. The only way I have found to work through this limitation is by publishing modules to the right hand position thereby increasing the page length. The more targeted I can get with publishing the easier it is for me to work through page length restrictions. Any help is greatly appreciated.
