    • .14 is still a release candidate, is it not? I will upgrade after it is a stable release.

    • I had an issue after installing editor mambots. (JCE and JoomlaFCK)
It looks like, at least in my case, that the .14 set folder permissions for the newly installed mambots which didn't work.
I had to manually set the permissions for the folders to 755, and that appears to have fixed it.

I've only done it on one site so far, so I'm not sure if there was something else causing the issue, so it might not be related to .14.

i've not moved on the back of them releasing it as an RC but they say thats all they're going to release .. i dont think its right that they leave it at that .. but i dont want sites running on a RC - i've fixed what i need to fix .. but leaving the last release as RC isn't proper ..

    • I installed joomla 1.0.14 to build a new site because joomla 1.0.13 is not available to download... I have some issues with modules and components but I'm sure about the reason; however I think it's due to the instability of this new version.

    • i dont really understand the current developement process for joomla though. Things are really beginning to mix up i presume! joomla 1.5 RC1, ~ J!1.5RC4, J!1.0.14 RC1 man its becoming a jungle out there especially the weight they are putting on the douccementation team. and surely i was just helping out on the forum and guys have problems which are very non specific, some dont even know what version they are using espeically those new to joomla, i have just spent an evening trying to convince someone of how kool joomla is just to realize he was talking about J!1.0.14 and i was refering to 1.5,

Some thing realy needs to be done
