I always had magazine subscriptions, but since now days everything is available on the Internet I find no use of subscribing to magazines any more, so last year I decided to let my magazine subscriptions expire, my last magazine subscription expired this month, until recently I had all my magazines on display now they are in boxes in the garage but I am in need of space and need to get rid of them, I tried donating it to our local library but they weren't interested, I am having hard time throwing them away (8 years worth of subscription to nearly 12-15 magazines) , my question what do you do with your old magazines.
I love the internet, but I still get a few magazines as well (hey...you need something to read in the bathroom).
As far as what I do with them, my wife is a preschool teacher and her students use the old magazines for projects. They will cut out the pictures and make stuff. So...all my old magazines go to her school.
Well, you can roll them up and use them for a fire, but you can get ink poison and it would go against The Church of Global Warming.
You can save them for future generations, create a time capsule for them to open up and think to themselves - wow, more magazines.
You can turn serial killer and use them for encrypted messages to taunt the police and media.
You can re-wrap them as nostalgic Holiday gifts.
You can use them for insulation on that new second spare room you have always wanted to add to your home.
Oh, I could sit here all day and think of wonderful things you can do with old magazines.
Hoped this help, plus, you canceled you subscriptions? Come on now, nothing beats a good magazine to sit down at the pot and read (this is something you will be doing for the rest of your life). Not saying you can't use a laptop. Just easy reading when you got to go.
Peace,
William
