How to prevent module links to open a new page.

Hi,
I am designing a site which would comprise of sub-homes/sub-portals. I am gonna use Populus fo one of them. I will design sub-home with certain modules. Upon clicking any link in any module, I want the related content to open within the content area of the current page, instead of opening a new page.
Is this possible?

- You probably want to use something like AJAX and other custom javascripts, maybe ask at forum.joomla.org
