I am planning on creating a joomla site where people have to pay a member’s fee in order to read content on the site. Just like here at rocket theme. We have to pay in order to get to download page or read forums topics.
Anyone can suggest something like that. Is there a component for this purpose?

For Joomla 1.0.x, AEC works wonders. For example it powers ninjoomla.com and alledia.com, both leading joomla clubs in their own fields.
For Joomla 1.5, Rocketheme will be releasing RokClub at some point in the near future. No doubt it will be one of the star extensions for Joomla when it comes out. - Say no to Internet Explorer 6.
