- Currently I am hosting with ixwebhosting, but their servers are extremely slow and annoying. I am looking for a new host and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations.

Well... considering that the official Joomla site is using Rochen hosting and that Rochen hosting is optimized for Joomla, I'd have to say:

I have a site on Rochen, and one on Aplus.net...
The Rochen site is fast and bullet proof.
The Aplus site give me 500 errors (among others), AND is slow as dog vomit.
Only down side of Rochen... The drive space and bandwith is very very SMALL if you compaire to the other hosts...
I have several sites and I'm looking around now for something for my Aplus.net site with more drive space and bandwith... if Rochen had it they would be the host for every site I touched!!!!

i've been with all mentioned above and i'm very settled with 5quid - i pay a little more (not much but more) but customer service is without doubt not just head and shoulders above everything else, it's on a different level
for someone like me, who has only just started running his first vps but having hosting accounts for close to 4 years (with 5quid) - it was a god send to have someone who you knew was on the case and knew what he was doing ..
i'm now just moving into the realm of dedicated and while its not a service 5quid naturally offer i know they'll bend over backwards to help me out with moves and setting up - Last Edit: 17 years 2 months ago by damo.
