multi location single domain templates

Hi
I have a client with 80 country offices. Each office will use the same template with different content.
ie: www.mydomain.com/uk , www.mydomain.com/hk , www.mydomain.com/de . These will be accessed on a start page with a drop down country box which then opens each site. All sites will run on one server centrally hosted. Some will be in a different language.
Do I have to load Joomla! and the template 80 times? Do I need 80 databases?
I tried replicating the test installation in to 2 directories under htdocs, but when I edited the content, it changed on both instances.
www.nokia.com gives an idea of what I m trying to do...
Any help would be much appreciated...

have you looked at joomfish:
extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...nk_id,460/Itemid,35/
not sure if it can do is so you've got .com/hk, .com/de, etc. but if you're wanting to do it that way then i'd install all individually if for no other reason other than they are seperate sites and you've have individual control over them - you'll also get to bill loads more

Thanks for the info. I am going to install one for each country. Any idea if I can create my own rocketlauncher based on the reworked mediamodul template. Is it just a case of gzipping my folder and then creating a new database for each country?
