That would be nice too YouYou. Especially if it is something she needs but won't, or isn't able, to buy for herself. You know her better than we do, afterall
Eight months is a great reason to celebrate and the focus of the sentiment should be how you spend it together and not necessarily in the 'tokens' or material things that are exchanged. Besides, buying expensive things for 8 months sets a precedent for 9 months, and 10 months, and 11 months... etc. Also could put pressure on her to think that she has to start buying things as well for all of those events.
Go bigger on the longer milestones (yearly anniversaries) and they will be that much more memorable in the future.

No she don't like the cinema ... and it is not a problem because me too.
The problem with the cinema is that we are obliged to stay quiet and fixe in order to not disturb the other spectators.
I prefer spend a moment just together for this occasion
