    • I have reinstalled a backup to the site from a previous hacker. This backup was before the hack happened. I have been working all weekend to get this thing restored.

      My problem is this:

      The vortex theme is some how not showing in the site templates. I know I can re-install it but it was heavily modified and would hate to lose all that work.

      Any Idea's?

    • What about this? The backup I used was a joomlacloner file for restoring and maybe it got corrupt uploading it to the server. The backup is a 2gig file.

      I do have a backup that was done via ftp and that is where I found the joomlacloner backup. I ran the joomlacloner and it did retore the database. I looked at the whole backup that was done via ftp and the vortex folder is there. What if I reupload the site via ftp and let it use the database that joomlacloner restored?

      Does this sound logical to everyone?

    • deleted the site and ftp'd the all the folders one at a time. The site was 10gig in size, so had to go slow didn't want to lose and thing again.

      Site is restored... Changing to solved
