• Hi All,

Firstly, this may be in the wrong place, feel free to move, but I could not see an obvious location for this post!

The site in question is www.enigmaguild.org (J1.5!)

This in progress site, is paired with a phpBB3 forum, and RokBridge is in use. As such, I am looking to use the phpBB3 login mechanism, not joomla's for the creation of new accounts, and the standard joomla login for logging in once an account is created.

This means (I think) that I need to change the default behavior of the joomla 1.5 log in module within the template.

As such I want to change the joomla 'Create an account link' to point to Register . Although I can create this effect by placing the text above in the 'post text' box within the module, it appears in the wrong place, and does not appear selectively (i.e. if a user is logged in or not).

I have searched everywhere for the string 'option=com_user&task=Register' to look to replace it, but it does not seem to exist. Is this thinking just too simplistic ?

Secondly, I don't want the text under the login module, to drop into two lines. This means that there is no space for 'Forgotton Password ?' - or that I need to somehow rearrange things. Is there away of hiding this text, and perhaps placing it on a normal menu button ? (in fact lateral thinking tells me that I might be better of doing this with the create an account option, and placing that on a menu button as well!)

Any help \ advice \ suggestions are greatly appreciated!

      Regards,

      Miz

    • Heya guys,

I guess this may not be the best place to post such questions, can anyone advise as to a good forums to make this post ? (perhaps more development focused?), I have already posted this post into the offical joomla forums, also with no reply.

Apologies if this comes across as impatient! Its really not, the level of support for issues actually related to the remplates is second to none! I now just just need to find somewhere as responsice for general joomla issues ;-)

      Thanks in advance,

      Mizpah
